2310-01-480x382

Aremco-Bond 2310, a new ultra high strength, flexible, high temperature epoxy adhesive produced by Aremco Products, Inc., is now available for applications requiring a tensile shear strength to 4,770 psi and operating temperatures to 325 °F (165 °C).

Aremco-Bond 2310 is a two-part, gray-pigmented, medium viscosity, flexible, epoxy adhesive used in applications requiring ultra high bond strengths up to 4,770 psi and temperature resistance to 365 °F (185 °C). This adhesive is ceramic-filled and provides an exceptional combination of high shear and peel strengths. It also provides excellent impact and vibration resistance and good stability in autoclave conditions.

Additional properties include a high flexural strength of 12,000 psi, volume resistivity of 3.0 x 1013, dielectric strength of 410 volts/mil, and dielectric constant of 4.28 at 1 kHz. Exceptional chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, organic fluids, and salts, is also provided.

Aremco-Bond 2310 is a 100% solids epoxy that is mixed in a ratio of 100 parts resin to 100 parts hardener by weight. Mixed viscosity is 38,000 centipoise (cP) and the pot life for a 100 gram mass is approximately 45 minutes. Recommended cure is 2 hours at 150 °F or 48 hours at room temperature. Cured product is exhibits a linear shrinkage of .001 in/in and Shore-D hardness of 78.

Some of the many applications for Aremco-Bond 2310 include the bonding of engineered thermoplastics, ceramic wear tiles and sheet molding compounds used in aerospace and automotive applications. Aremco-Bond 2310 is supplied from stock in easy to mix pint, quart and gallon kits.
